A French YouTuber has re-created the GTA 6 trailer, and it looks better than you’d expect it to. The YouTuber travelled all the way to Miami, which GTA 6’s Vice City is based on, and shot the same sequences we saw in the second-most watched video game trailer of all time.
Cyrilmp4 is a YouTuber who creates video games and entertainment content on his channel. The content creator decided to see the exact same spots from the trailer, such as Miami Beach, and took it a step further by capturing the places through the same camera angles to create a live-action GTA 6 trailer. While the complete video from Cyril features a variety of adventures he had in Miami, which are shot and produced in GTA-gameplay style, the re-creation of the GTA 6 trailer stands out.

Since the game trailer came out two months ago, on December 5, 2023, it has gone on to create waves in the video game industry. The trailer broke the YouTube record for most views in 24 hours for a non-music video, which was previously held by Mr. Beast. There’s no denying that GTA is a cultural phenomenon, and there have been several re-creations of the GTA 6 trailer since then, including Hyundai’s effort to promote its Motorsport venture in a GTA 6 trailer-inspired video.
GTA 6 is scheduled to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A release date for PC is not announced yet, and reports suggest that players on PC will get to play GTA 6 in 2026.
