The leak comes from prominent leaker eXtas1stv (via VideoGamer) who shared the promotional graphic for Xbox Developer Direct January 2024. The event’s time is also mentioned on the graphic, which states that it will kick off at 12 pm PT on January 25. That’s January 26 at 1:30 am IST in India. The graphic also suggests that fans will be able to watch the event live on YouTube and Twitch.
You can also spot developers Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Stoic, and Oxide on Xbox’s leaked promotion image, suggesting that we can hear more about upcoming games such as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II from Ninja Theory, Towerborne from Stoic, Avowed and The Outerworlds from Obisidian.
The leaker mentioned a ‘shadowdrop’ drop release similar to HiFi Rush, and mentioned that it could be Psychonauts 2 developer Double Fine who will be launching KILN, a multiplayer team-based crawler game.
It’s important to remember that there’s nothing official about any of this, and it’s best to wait for Microsoft’s official confirmation about the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct January 2024 event.
