The Marvels Will Be Available To Stream Through Disney+ Hotstar From Feb 7, Executive Producer Highlights Its Importance for the MCU
Disney+ Hotstar is the go-to OTT platform to watch any content that comes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The platform is known to receive all the recently released MCU movies, television series and other projects first and the latest film to be added to the collection is The Marvels. The Marvels will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from February 7, 2024, in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
For those who haven’t watched the movie yet or do not know much about it, here’s some context. The Marvels is the direct sequel to Captain Marvel, which came out in 2019. The 2019 movie saw Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, turn into one of the strongest characters in the entire MCU, which is Captain Marvel. The new movie sees her team up with other superheroes that have the Marvel moniker to take down the alien species, Kree and the Supreme Intelligence.
In order to take them down, Captain Marvel teams up with Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, the character which was first seen in the TV series of the same name. The other character she teams up with is Monica Rambeau, who is portrayed by Teyonah Harris, and she was first seen in Captain Marvel, then WandaVision, before appearing in The Marvels.

Moreover, readers can also expect the likes of Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson as a part of the ensemble cast. The movie is directed by Nia DaCosta, who is known for her work in 2021’s Candyman and 2018’s Crossing the Line. Lastly, the executive producer for the movie, Mary Livanos recently shared how The Marvels is a “turning point in the MCU”, check out what she had to say below:
“The Marvels is a huge world-building endeavor. The film paints the biggest picture of the cosmic Marvel universe that we have seen yet. With that come locations and new characters that celebrate all the most zany and mysterious facets of sci-fi that we as filmmakers love.”
