The Brave and the Bold Might Arrive Sooner Than You Think

James Gunn and Peter Safran, the current heads of DC Studios, revealed the new DC slate a year ago. Now, that we are in 2024, we can finally see the culmination of the projects that were introduced, with the first one being Creature Commandos followed by Superman: Legacy in 2025. But that also makes fans curious about the release window of another project, which is Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Through one of his recent Thread posts, James Gunn recently spoke about how it has been a year since the new DC slate was revealed and then added updates on all the current projects. Gunn stated that Superman: Legacy is about to begin production, and “episodes of Creature Commandos are being finished” with the series coming out towards the end of the year.

In the same post, Gunn also spoke about there being “at least 2 more projects” that will be “gearing up to go in the next couple of months”. Which led many to wonder what projects these may be. One fan also asked whether it was true that Brave and the Bold would only be released after the end of Matt Reeves’ Batman trilogy, to which James Gunn gave a one-word answer, “No.”

Most likely, they would wait for the sequel to come out and then release Brave and the Bold a year or two before the third and final part of the trilogy was released. Regardless, Gunn is the only one who can tell us when this movie will truly be out.
