TCL Unveils World’s Largest MiniLED TV and Adds a New 4K TV to Its S Lineup




TCL, an electronics manufacturer, has announced a new 115-inch MiniLED Quantum Dot TV at CES 2024, making it the largest MiniLED TV to come with Quantum Dot technology. The company also added a new TV to its S line, capable of producing more brightness, and two new S and Q class soundbars, were also unveiled. Here’s a closer look at TCL’s announcements at the event.

TCL QM8
This is a premium TV which stems from TCL’s QM8 lineup and the new 115-inch TV adds a 6.2.2 channel speaker system for surround sound feels to add a home theater experience while watching the TV. With 20,000 dimming zones, the display gets better with more definitive shadows and highlights, to add more clarity and vividness to the content you watch on this mega TV. Also, customers can experience up to 5,000 nits peak brightness on the TV. For gamers, there’s 144Hz refersh rate at 4K resolution to take advantage of, coupled with Variable Refresh Rate support.

TCL S5
The company also added a new TV to its S line, which is a lower-end to midrange category instalment. The new TCL S5 comes with 4K resolution and offers 43- to 85-inch screen options. TCL has claimed that the S5 will be 25 per cent brighter than the previous generation and comes equipped with TCL’s new AIPQ processor. You also get HDR Pro+ and Dolby Vision on this TV for better picture quality.

Two new TCL soundbars
Elsewhere, TCL also added new S and Q class soundbars that you can pair up with its TVs. The S55H offers a 2.1 Channel Dolby Atmos soundbar while the Q85H provides a 7.1.4 Channel Dolby Atmos sound. Q85H can also wirelessly connect to rear speakers.
