Taylor Swift, one of the most popular music artists in the world, is rumoured for an appearance on Fortnite. Swift recently announced her new album ‘The Tortured Poets’, which features a song with Post Malone called ‘Fortnight’. That has given rise to a variety of wild rumours on the Internet, and some fans believe that Swift may even be coming to Epic Games’ battle royale as a playable character.
Swift’s song with Malone, who is also a gamer, is most likely a nod to arguably the most popular battle royale game out there. As soon as the song track name was spotted, fans online were going crazy about a possible collaboration between Fortnite and Taylor Swift.

While playable character appearance may seem like a stretch, it may be possible that Swift would host an in-game concert. We have already seen other artists, such as Ariana Grande and Eminem, perform live in the game. Given the pull of Fortnite when it comes to marketing, a collaboration cannot be ruled out completely.

Even if Swift does not make an appearance, her songs could still make it to Fortnite Festival for players to enjoy the Guitar Hero-like music mode. Anyway, there’s still time before her album comes out on April 19. So, if you’re a fan of Swift and Fortnite, there may be some hope to see a collaboration close to the album release.

It would certainly be a collaboration between two giants in their respective fields. Swift recently won her 13th Grammy and was also named TIME magazine’s Person of the Year in 2023 after the monumental success of her ‘Eras Tour’.
