Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the most highly anticipated movies of this year, and it all thanks to these two iconic characters teaming up together, with Hugh Jackman returning to the role of the titular character. The movie will not serve as the third part of the Deadpool series, but as a “two-hander character adventure”, as per director Shawn Levy. Now, Levy has spoken about one of the biggest rumoured cameos from the movie.
Since Deadpool & Wolverine was announced, the creators been dealing with leaks a lot, with several of its characters already being revealed. However, it is Deadpool in the end, so there is no way to accurately tell how they will be used in the end. One of the rumours that have been circulating recently is that extremely popular American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift might have a cameo in the movie. With the craze around this artist, this rumour has reached the far ends of the earth.
Interestingly, Levy was recently asked about whether the rumours about Swift’s cameo were real, and he proceeded to provide the most cryptic answer to Entertainment Tonight (via Screen Rant). Levy responded by stating “I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer”, adding “All of America” knows that he won’t be able to answer this question. At the same time, he did say that the “proliferation of rumours about who is and isn’t in this movie, it’s fabulous”, but no one will know for real until it releases on July 26, 2024.

The Deadpool series is already notorious for its cameos, with the likes of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and so many more already appearing in the two movies. At the moment actors such as Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius and so many more are expected to cameo in the movie. With such big names on the roster, the fans can’t wait for July 2024 to just be here. We will be eagerly waiting to see who ends up in the movie once it arrives.
