Suika Game, a popular casual game on Nintendo Switch, has now made its way to the Apple App Store. Now, iOS players can play Suika Game on their iPhone and iPad. It is a watermelon puzzle game, where players have to mix and match fruits to solve the puzzle.
Currently, Suika Game is rated the second most popular casual game on App Store. This is also impressive as the game was quietly made available to players outside Japan (spotted by Polygon). It was only a couple of months ago in December 2023, when Suika Game arrived on Apple for players in Japan.
Suika Game is not a free-to-play title though. The game, called Suika Game-Aladdin X on the App Store by developers XGIMI Limited, costs INR 199 in India. In the Suika Game, the player has to drop fruits into a box, and fruits of the same type merge together when they touch. This transforms them into a bigger fruit such as strawberries becoming grapes, and then grapes turning into oranges, and so on. This happens until you get a watermelon, and two watermelons completely vanquish when they touch, which makes Suika Game an endless puzzle game. However, the game sounds easy to play but it becomes challenging as the game progresses.
Suika Game is also expected to be released for Android devices in May 2023, as per a report from TouchArcade. Most recently, Suika Game received a multiplayer DLC on Nintendo Switch, allowing players to enjoy local co-op, and it is reported that online multiplayer will be coming to Suika Game soon as well.
