Nvidia has announced that RTX 4080 Super reviews will suffer a minor setback as the review embargo has been moved from January 30 to January 31st. So, if you were looking forward to eyeing up all the new RTX 4080 Super benchmarks today, then you’re out of luck. Luckily, it’s just a 24 hour wait longer until reviews for both MSRP and non-MSRP models are due to go live.
The good news is however is that we’re all geared up for the RTX 4080 Super release date, which has been confirmed for the 31st of January – this is unchanged. Even though the reviews have been moved back a day, the actual product launch is still taking place. Not much time to sift through reviews if you want to find out where to buy RTX 4080 Super as quickly as possible. Nvidia launched these new Super cards earlier this month, and the 4080 Super is the final of the trio to see public release.

RTX 4080 Super review embargo delayed
So, the date that the RTX 4080 Super review embargo will be lifted has been moved to January 31st. Waiting another day for the 4080 Super reviews isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it is an annoyance if you were interested in checking them out today. We’ve known about the RTX 4080 Super specs for some time now, but the trusted word of testers and reviewers is invaluable to most of us. Reports tell us that this delay is related to shipping delays which some reviewers have been experiencing – some reviewers did not receive their sample GPU on time before the end of last week, leaving them with some last-minute crunch time.
When can I see RTX 4080 Super benchmarks?
Generally we see reviews go live around 2PM GMT (UK time) – that’s 9AM US Eastern / 6AM US Pacific. This is what we’ve experience for both of the other Super card refreshes this month, so we don’t expect to see anything different for the RTX 4080 Super. This is the time when you’ll be able to find 4080 Super benchmarks, as pretty much every review you take a look at will feature this as one of their main focus areas. We’re eager to see how well it matches up vs RTX 4080 given that the price has been reduced for the Super SKU.
