Spotted by a popular GTA 6 new source, GTA 6 Countdown on X (formerly Twitter), GTA 6 performance details were revealed recently. This information came from a recently deleted post on the GTAForum by Hailin Si, who is also the senior material artist at Rockstar Games. Hailin Si was asked whether the game will be able to maintain a stable 60 FPS on the PS5 once it is released. To which Hailin Si replied, “I don’t know, but we are confident”.

It is interesting to see that a game that doesn’t come till next year seems confident it can maintain 60 FPS on the PS5, whereas some games that have released in 2024, like Dragon’s Dogma 2 are only able to achieve 30 FPS. However, it should be taken into consideration that this post was also deleted, which could mean that Rockstar doesn’t want to make any promises. On top of that, this information is also contradictory to a recent report that stated GTA 6 may not be able to maintain 60 FPS even on the PS5 Pro. Regardless, players will have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure about GTA 6’s performance on consoles.
