Re:Zero Season 3 is going to release in October 2024.
Announced at AnimeJapan 2024, a new trailer was also revealed, offering a glimpse of what the anime will look like. You can watch the English-subtitled trailer below:
The 2-minute trailer begins with innocuous visuals of the various characters from the anime but maintains a dreary background score throughout. As the trailer progresses, it eventually showcases into the tension, drama, and angst that Re:Zero is known for.
The featured characters are all familiar from the first two seasons of the show. In the upcoming third season, voice actor Aya Yamane joins the cast to play the new character Liliana Masquerade. Another new character, Capella Emerada Lugunica, will also be introduced, but the voice actor for this role has not been revealed yet.
In addition to the anime, Re:Zero is also getting an iOS and Android game titled Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Witch’s Re:surrection RPG. It will be a free-to-play game developed by Elemental Craft and published by Kadokawa. You can check out what the game looks like in the teaser video below:
