PlayStation recently announced the PS Plus Season of Play, which kicks off today, December 5. During this new event, PS4 and PS5 players will be able to redeem free avatars, join esports tournaments, earn more points for PlayStation Star, experience discounts on PlayStation Gear, a competition with great prizes and even an online multiplayer weekend that even non-PlayStation Plus members will be able to try out. Exclusive Avatars for PS4 and PS5 Players
Interested players will be able to redeem a voucher code which will provide them with new PS5 and PS4 Avatar for their profile. Some of these avatars are inspired by the popular titles that are available to play through PlayStation Plus, including Ghost of Tsushima, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and more. The PlayStation Season of Play page is where you need to redeem your voucher, before January 5, 2024, that is.

PlayStation Gear Discount and Chance to Win PS5 with PS Plus
For players who are looking to procure some PlayStation Gear, this is the best opportunity as PlayStation is providing you with a flat 15% discount. All you need to do is use code SEASONOFPLAY15 while purchasing on gear.playstation.com to avail the discount. Furthermore, Sony is also hosting a contest where players can head over to the PlayStation Plus website, answer 5 questions based on the PS Plus Game Catalog and have a chance to win a brand new PS5 with 12 months of PS Plus Premium. Free Online Multiplayer Weekend and PlayStation Tournaments
To bring over more players to their subscription service, PlayStation is hosting a free online multiplayer weekend, where players without the membership can also take part in some online fun. The free online multiplayer weekend will start on December 9 at 12:01 AM and will end on December 10, 11:59 PM local time. Furthermore, playstation is also hosting tournaments for PlayStation Plus Deluxe/Premium members between December 12 and December 17 for the following titles, EA Sports FC 24, NBA 2K24, Madden NFL 24 and MLB the Show 23.
