Oscar-Nominated Animation Film Robot Dreams Releasing in Indian Theatres



Robot Dreams, the 2023 dialogue-free animated film directed by Pablo Berger, is releasing in Indian theatres on June 21.

The film is a Spanish-French co-production and an adaptation of the comic of the same name by Sara Varon. It’s getting a release in India by distributors PVR Inox Pictures and PictureWorks. You can check out the trailer for Robot Dreams below:

Here is the official synopsis of Robot Dreams:

Dog lives in Manhattan and hes tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach.

Will they ever meet again?

Robot Dreams premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May 2023. It won the Best Film in the Contrechamp section of the Annecy International Film Festival, and the Best Independent Animated Feature award at the Annie Awards. It was also nominated in the Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards.
