Epic Games, the PC games storefront, is giving away two free games this week. Players can add Cat Quest II, an RPG title, and Orcs Must Die! 3, an action-tower defence game, to their library this week until May 9. After that, they will be replaced by Circus Electrique and a Firestone free rewards add-on as next week’s freebie.
Cat Quest II
Developed by The Gentlebros and published by Kepler Interactive, Cat Quest II is an open-world, action-RPG title set in the fantasy world filled with cats and dogs. While the game’s name suggest you can only play as a cat, that’s not the case. You can play this game solo or with a friend, and both cats and dogs are playable characters. Embark on quests, discover new magic, take down enemies, and collect loot in Cat Quest II.
Orcs Must Die! 3
This action-tower defense game is all about slaying opponents and you can do this alone or with a friend. Orcs Must Die! 3 offers a variety of weapons and traps to kill hordes of orcs. The third installment of the game introduces War Scenarios, where players take on the challenge of facing “the largest orc armies ever assembled”, as per the game’s description. Orcs Must Die! 3 is developed and published by Robot Entertainment, the makers of ReadySet Heroes.

Next Week’s Free Offerings
On the topic of Epic Games Store’s free offerings, they have revealed what’s in store for us next week and it includes Circus Electrique, the indie RPG title developed by Zen Studios and published by Saber Interactive. The other free offering is bonus rewards for Holyday Studios’ Firestone. Both of these offerings will be available from May 9 to May 16, at absolutely no cost.
