As AMD is showing off its wares in China, there seems to be a new selection of CPUs coming to the market but probably not worldwide straight away at least. At a talk, AMD has shown off its interest in tackling every price point including APUs and Ryzen processors with a disabled iGPU, likely giving a cheaper choice for some.
With the new platform in AM5, all AMD CPUs have onboard graphics as opposed to previous generations. But now it seems to be releasing some with the iGPU disabled. The Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F have been announced, with the F ending informing you of the lack of onboard graphics, as shown by 9550pro on X.

We also saw the Strix Point APUs aiming to upgrade to RDNA 3 whilst this Hawk Point 8000F is removing its GPU options. Making it a bit more of a budget-friendly option.
AMD’s price point lineup
According to Videocardz, the 8700F should be launching with 8 cores and 16 threads similar to the 8000G series released at the beginning of the year. The lower end 8400F is harder to predict due to not having a close comparison. Sitting between the 8500G and 8300G with different configs, we may expect to see 6 cores and 12 threads on it.
The CPUs were part of the lineup for attacking every price point header. Showcasing the new 8000Fs, but also the Ryzen 5 5600GT and Ryzen 5500GT that also came from the CES announcements. Also with the 3400G, 3200G, and 3000G. All of which provide a strong value choice for powerful processing on the low end and supporting older platforms as well.
However, there is also a look at some Ryzen 5000XT processors, which would suggest more graphics-intensive Ryzen APUs on the way as well.
