Netflix Games Will Have ’86 Games Available’ By The End of 2023




Netflix is going all in with their gaming venture, Netflix Games and they have just revealed what their plans are with this new service. Netflix Games has been out for 2 years now and the most recent and notable addition to their roster of titles is the GTA Trilogy Definitive edition, which can be downloaded for iOS and Android devices now, learn more about their plans ahead and what they have done so far below.

Netflix Games has 90 titles in development
To date Netflix has released 40 games, this includes their internally developed titles such as Night School’s Oxenfree II: Lost Signals and their addition to Netflix Stories, Love is Blind. This also includes third-party games such as the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Football Manager 24 Mobile, Storyteller and several more.

Furthermore, they are also testing their games to work on other devices that support Netflix, such as Laptops and TVs. This service has been in beta testing since August 2023, and select PCs, Macs Amazon Fire TV Streaming Media Players, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku Devices and TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Xfinity 4K devices and Xumo devices and TV have been supporting games in regions like the United States and Canada.

Moreover, they have promised to have “86 games available” by the end of this year and all of those will work “without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees” and will only require a “Netflix Membership”. On top of that, they have announced that they have “nearly 90 more games in development” and are “just getting started”.

They have announced several titles that are coming in 2024 along with the recently announced Sonic Mania Plus. Other titles include Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, FashionVerse, Game Dev Tycoon, Hadesm Dumb Ways to Survive, Katana Zero, Money Heist: Ultimate Choice and several more, check out the full list here. Also, there is a Rebel Moon game being developed by Super Evil Megacorp which will follow the events of Netflix movies by Zack Snyder, Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire and Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver. Last but not least, a Squid game title is in the works too.
