Nanlite has announced the new Nanlite FC-500C ($1,099), a high-output, full-colour LED spot LED light, producing 57,050 lux at 1 meter (5600K with reflector) and 25,590 lux at 1 meter (green with reflector). It has a rated output of 520W, with a 2700-7500K white balance range, and +/- 150 green/magenta shift adjustment.
The RGBW LED light offers multiple lighting modes, including CCT, HSI, RGBW, Gel and various effects modes. These are all controlled via the onboard interface or the Nanlink app. It supports 48v power and can run from either AC at indoor locations or V-Mount batteries out on location.
Nanlite FC-500C – Style meets colour
The new Nanlite FC-500C is essentially a full-colour version of the bicolour Nanlite FC-500B announced last September. As such, we should expect a similar level of build quality and performance. Shooting with a daylight white balance of 5600K, it puts out an impressive 57,050 lux at 1 meter.
In RGB mode, the green channel clocks in at 25,590, so it’s not quite as bright as white, but it’s still a very impressive output. Like the FC-500B, the FC-500C offers 520W of output, with dimming available from 0-100% in 1% increments.
The FC-500C includes CCT, HSI, RGBW, Gel, and Effect modes, providing almost limitless lighting possibilities. The modes are easily controlled via the intuitive on-board interface or the NANLINK app. All this can be controlled on-board, via a wireless remote, the NANLINK app, or DMX/RDM for more complex setups.
Nanlite FC PowerController
Nanlite has today also introduced the innovative FC PowerController. This is a multifunctional power unit, V-mount battery charger, and controller designed to enhance the capabilities of the FC series lights. This includes lights like the new FC-500C, FC-300B, and FC-500B.
The FC PowerController allows you to power your lights from one or two V-Mount batteries. It also offers dual battery charging, allowing you to plug it into the wall outlet for simultaneous charging of both batteries when needed. It can also act as a power adapter for your light, running from AC, too.
The Nanlite FC PowerController comes supplied with a 3-metre cable, allowing you to place lights up quite high while keeping the unit on the ground.

The Nanlite FC-500C is available to pre-order now for $1,099. The Nanlite FC PowerConroller is also available to pre-order now for $399. Items are slated to ship in July.
