The new year has begun, but it seems that the trends from the previous year live on. The gaming industry is going strong in the handheld department, with the likes of ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, PlayStation Portal and others releasing in 2023. It seems that these guys are going to see a new competitor enter the market in 2024 and that is none other than MSI Gaming.
MSI Gaming recently released a video on their official Instagram account which has intrigued many gamers. Their new video starts off with a silhouette of a handheld gaming device, with only its joysticks visible with RGB outlines. We then see the words “True Gaming”, a red and black grill and finally the MSI Dragon logo. At the end of the video, we see the words “Coming Soon, #MSIxCES2024”. The video has the caption, “A whole new breed of MSI Dragon is coming.”

MSI has always been in the gaming business and has tons of gaming laptops and other hardware over the years. It will be exciting to see a new company enter this cut-throat competition and hopefully bring something even more powerful and innovative to the table. At the moment, there are two major questions on the player’s minds, the first being the performance and the second being the price and we will know the answer for both at CES 2024, which takes place from January 9 to January 12, 2024.
