Knights of Veda Collaborates With K-pop Artists From Seventeen, Fromis 9

Hybe IM’s upcoming game, Astra: Knights of Veda, developed by Flint, is teaming up with artists from K-pop groups Seventeen and Fromis 9. These groups fall under the Pledis Entertainment label, owned by Hybe Corporation.
Seventeen’s Seungkwan and Hoshi lend their vocals to two solo tracks for Astra: Knights of Veda, while Lee Na Gyung from Fromis 9 makes an appearance in a newly released trailer for the game’s pre-registrations.

Speaking of which, the game has surpassed 2.5 million pre-registrations. You can register by visiting Astra: Knights of Veda’s official website or through Google Play or App Store. Registering will earn you in-game rewards like the Launch Support Box, containing an exclusive launch Namecard, Mist Deer Necklace, and Mist Deer Ring. Plus, you’ll receive 2 Crystal of Relationship as additional store rewards.

The fantasy game, which was introduced in gamescom 2023, is set in the world of Planis, and the official description of the game states: “A dark plague besets the world of Planis, perpetrated through a dark ritual performed by the Mad King. You, and the other Knights of Veda, are the only ones who can bring normality back to the world.”

Hybe is certainly going all-in with its K-pop stars under Hybe Labels, as a “congratulatory messages” video ropes in various popular groups such as TXT, NewJeans, Le Sserafim, Enhypen, Fromis 9, BoyNextDoor, and TWS, praising the game:

The impact of the K-pop tie-up on the game’s popularity remains to be seen, but initial fan responses from the beta have been mixed, with praise for the visuals and combat but criticism for the gacha system. You can check out the gameplay trailer below:

Astra: Knights of Veda is set to launch on April 2 on PC (via Steam and direct download through the game’s official website), iOS, and Android.
