Discovery Channel and HoYoverse have revealed a short documentary alongside a series of online and offline events to raise awareness about protecting nature. The documentary features popular actors and explorers including Kit Harington, Ed Stafford, and Lily Cole as voice actors for the documentary.
The collaboration also has an upcoming online webpage challenge that will reward Genshin Impact players with exclusive in-game rewards. Furthermore, there will be an offline Genshin Impact benefit merch sale taking place in Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, and Seoul.
‘Voices of Nature’ documentary
The documentary, titled “Voices of Nature”, is an 8-minute episode that introduces the Ocean, Coral Reef, Snowy Mountains, Forest and Desert, explaining their critical importance in sustaining life on earth for everyone. Kit Harrington gave voice to the Ocean, while Lily Cole voiced Coral Reef. Max Djenhoan was Snowy Mountains, Kat Humble voiced Forest, and Ed Stafford voiced the Desert. The documentary ends with upsetting facts and projections for the future, highlighting the damage these ecosystems are suffering from at the moment.

Genshin Impact: ‘Discover Traces, Explore Nature’ event
The Genshin Impact collaboration with Discovery Channel is called the Teyvat Discovery Tour campaign. Kaveh, an in-game character, was announced as the spokesperson for this campaign while Beidou, Kokomi, Albedo, Tighnari and Candace represent the habitats in Teyvat.
Genshin Impact will host a new web event called “Discover Traces, Explore Nature” from March 16 onwards which will offer Primogems and the exclusive Serenitea Pot Furnishing “Let the Desert Bloom” to those who participate in the event.
As for the merch sale set to take place in cities around the globe, the revenue generated will be donated to Cool Earth, a rainforest conservation organization.
