Rockstar Games is gearing up towards the launch of what is bound to be the biggest game launch in recent years. GTA 6 is scheduled for a launch in 2025, and now the release window for the game has also been revealed.
Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, recently had its conference call where it talked about its forecast for FY25. The company expects to bring in $8 billion in revenue. Online, many folks are speculating about this big number, and think if the company plans to make that much dough in 2025, it’s probably because they’re dropping a mega-game like GTA 6 that year, making tons of money for Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games has already revealed that GTA 6 will release in 2025. Since FY25 will end on March 31, 2025, and we know the expected revenue Take-Two is aiming for, the game needs to be released before March 2025 and should also have enough time to generate such profit. Hence, it is expected that GTA 6 will launch somewhere between January and March 2025.

Take-Two’s next conference call is set for February 9 at 8:30 am IST, and more information about their FY25 forecast and if there are changes and delays, is expected to be revealed during this meeting. Pre-orders are also tipped to start later this year as FY24 begins from April 2024.
However, the wait is much longer for some gamers. GTA 6 will arrive at consoles first, and the release date for PC is still unknown. Rockstar Games released Red Dead Redemption 2 for consoles first, and then on PC a year later. GTA 5 came out two years on PC after the launch on consoles. So, it would not be surprising if PC gamers would have to wait until 2026 to get their hands on GTA 6.
