Ghost of Tsushima PC Release Announcement May Be Coming on March 5

Ghost of Tsushima, Sony’s action-adventure game from 2020, is reportedly making its way to PC soon with an announcement coming this week. The game from 2020 first came out for PlayStation 4 and its Director’s Cut Edition brought it to PS5 in 2021. The PlayStation-exclusive game from Sucker Punch revolves around the story of a samurai who is on a quest to protect his land during the first Mongol invasion of Japan.

According to XboxEra’s Shpeshal_Nick (Nick Baker), the announcement for the PC port is expected to arrive tomorrow, March 5. “I’m hearing that we might be getting something about the Ghost of Tsushima PC port pretty soon. Maybe around the 5th?”, he said on X (formerly Twitter).

The arrival of Ghost of Tsushima has been expected eventually and with Sony’s commitment to explore the PC market, it is not surprising that the PlayStation game is getting ported to PC. If the port is coming, it will join the likes of God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal, and other PS-exclusive games that have been ported for PC in recent years. Given how well Helldivers 2 has performed for Sony, it also seems like Sony may begin to launch its games sooner on the PC platform in the future.

They have also cancelled unnamed projects, but Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reported that a Twisted Metal live service game is one of the projects. Schreier was asked if Guerrilla’s multiplayer Horizon game is one of the titles cancelled by Sony, and Schreier stated that the project has not been cancelled.
