Epic Games Store Will Be Giving Away Three Fallout Titles Next Week; Dakar Desert Rally Free To Claim Now
Epic Games, the studio behind Fortnite and creators of Unreal Engine 5, has just revealed the next set of games coming for free to their PC games storefront. Epic Games Store will be offering three Fallout games next week. Currently, players can get their hands on the Dakar Desert Rally until February 22. Post that, Fallout 1 and 2, alongside Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, will be free to claim until February 29.

Let’s talk about the current freebie first. Developed and published by Saber, Dakar Desert Rally is both a single-player and online multiplayer racing game. Laden with licensed vehicles, the game also offers over 30 official Dakar Rally stages to compete in, from 2020 to 2022. The racing title also has an open world to offer where you get a full day-night cycle and dynamic weather based on all four seasons.

To add Dakar Desert Rally to your Epic Games Store library, simply head to the game’s product page on the store, choose the ‘Get’ option, and follow the on-screen instructions to redeem the game for free.
Fallout 1, 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel will be free next week
After Dakar Desert Rally, players will be able to get their hands on three titles from the iconic Fallout series. First will be Fallout 1, the series-starter RPG, which is still applauded by many as a genre-defining title. Fallout 2, its sequel, will also be available during this week, and the sequel builds upon the foundations laid in the first game.
While Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is set in the same universe, it is more of a spin-off as it does not continue the story from Fallout 2. This is a turn-based, real-time RPG title, and it is centred around a squad known as the Brotherhood of Steel. In this title, the focus is slightly more towards combat, whereas Fallout 1 and 2 were largely about strategy, immersion, and its non-linear narrative pathways.
