Deus Ex Mankind Divided Is Free To Claim on Epic Games Store This Week

Epic Games Store is giving away Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for free this week, alongside The Bridge. Players can claim both of these titles for free until March 21 before they get replaced next week by Call of the Wild: The Angler, an open-world fishing game, and Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, a game based on a comic book superhero.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an action RPG game set in the year 2029. It features a dystopian world where players take on the role of Adam Jensen, an augmented covert operative who tries to defeat the Illuminati, a mysterious group that wants to control humanity’s future.

The Bridge is a puzzle game that has been described by its developers as “Isaac Newton meets M. C. Escher.” The game has been developed by Ty Taylor, Mario Castañeda, and The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild. Players have to manipulate gravity in The Bridge to complete what may seem like impossible puzzles to solve.

You can claim these two titles right now before the offer expires on March 21 at 8:30 pm IST. Epic Games Store will offer Call of the Wild: The Angler and Invincible Presents: Atom Eve from March 21 onwards.

Epic Games updates pricing for Unreal Engine 5.4
Epic Games has now announced changes to its pricing for Unreal Engine 5 for non-game developers. Those who wish to use Unreal Engine 5.4 will have to pay $1,850 per year (roughly INR 1,53,350). This change will come in effect from late April 2024 onwards.

This price change is mainly going to affect those who use Unreal Engine 5.4 to create movies, shows, and more. Unreal Engine 5 will remain free to use for video game developers, and they are only liable to pay Unreal Engine a flat 5% royalty if their game starts generating revenue over $1 million.

Epic Games’ change also will not affect those who are using Unreal Engine 5 for educational projects, or to create hobby projects, and it will remain free for students.

These fees will also only apply if and when studios upgrade to the incoming UE5.4 update. Any project made using earlier versions currently available will be exempt.

“Our goal is to keep our tools free for as many people as possible, especially folks who are just starting out. These changes are designed to make long-term Unreal Engine development sustainable, so that we can continue to provide the very best, most advanced creator tools to all industries – big companies, small studios, individuals, and everyone in between,” Epic Games said.
