Nepal A will take on Ireland A in the 3rd and final Unofficial ODI of the series on Sunday. Ireland A scripted back-to-back wins in the low-scoring 1st and 2nd ODI of the series to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 and are one win away from a complete clean sweep. Meanwhile, the hosts Nepal A have put up a horrendous batting show in both matches to end up on the losing side.

Pre-Match Analysis:
It’s not at all acceptable by any means as Nepal A crushed to a heavy defeat in the 2nd Unofficial ODI by 114 runs. Chasing the modest 174 runs on a challenging wicket, they bundled out for a mere 60 runs raising questions over their batting. However, there are no loopholes in the bowling as they kept their standards high to bowl visitors Ireland A out for 157 and 174 in the series. Kamal Singh Airee, Shahab Alam, and Rijan Dhakal were outstanding with the ball, picking up 14 wickets combined. With the series already slipped away from their hands, they will now look to bring the margin down to 2-1.

Ireland A completely dominated the last couple of matches, beating Nepal by 21 and 114 runs. It’s their bowlers who won the matches on both occasions. Matthew Humphreys caused a major destruction, picking up a 5-fer and a 6-fer. The batting unit has lived up to the expectations to some extent by posting decent scores of 157 and 174 in the 1st and 2nd ODIs respectively. They are not willing to settle for this and want to complete a 3-0 clean sweep. With the series already in their kitty, they are expected to make changes for the 3rd Unofficial ODI.
