AMD are no strangers to creating a great-value graphics card, and while the RX 7900 XT sits at the high-end of the latest 7000 series, it has consistently provided excellent value for money against the RTX 4080 and now the Super. However, it is even giving the cheaper RTX 4070 Ti Super a run for its money as further price drops drop it under the $700 mark.
It isn’t the first time that AMD have slashed the price of the RX 7900 XT, a powerful graphics card that sits just below the 7900 XTX flagship. As TweakTown reported, AMD cut down the price of the 7900 XT to just $749. That’s down from its original MSRP $899 price tag and even further below the formerly reduced price of $799. However, it now gets even cheaper to put a further dent in the 4070 Ti Super’s sales prospects.
RX 7900 XT is currently cheaper than RTX 4070 Ti Super
As spotted on Newegg, the SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 7900 XT is retailing for just $699.99, meaning it slips in just under $700 to leave the RTX 4070 Ti Super in the dust which has an MSRP of $799, sticking around that recommended price for even the cheaper models.

We first suggest you head on over to Newegg if you want to snap up this card for cheap as soon as possible. We’ve also spotted it on Amazon, but availability is scarce at the time of writing. Wherever you find it for less than $700, it is well worth it at this price.
Is the RX 7900 XT better value for money?
We think that the RX 7900 XT offers excellent value for money when you consider the kind of performance you can draw from it. When comparing RX 7900 XT vs RTX 4070 Ti, we found that the AMD card could perfect 14% better. However, the 4070 Ti Super is now here to help close that gap more considerably. Still, with the much cheaper price tag currently slapped on the RX 7900 XT, we think it offers the best value for money between these GPUs.
AMD is never too far behind Nvidia when it comes to their graphics features either, implementing frame generation tech of their own lately into RX 7000 and 6000 series cards, so it’ll be good value for long run too.
