As we mentioned in our Ryzen 9000 release date page, AMD have delayed the release of the 9000 series CPUs, with the launch now taking place in August and being split into two release dates dependent on the CPU.
The Ryzen 9950X will be released on Thursday, 15th August 2024 alongside the Ryzen 9000X.
The original release date for the Ryzen 9950X was the 31st July 2024, however after AMD released a statement on the 24th July 2024 highlighting concerns with the quality control of the Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, they have decided to delay the release to August which should allow them to fix any quality concerns they have.
If you are wondering what time the Ryzen launch will take place, typically it is 9am EST / 2PM GMT / 6AM PST.
