Amazon Prime Video, one of the most popular OTT platforms in India, has released its line-up for 2024, and it looks absolutely stacked. There’s a range of movies and shows in store for the Indian audience with hit series such as Panchayat, Mirzapur, and Paatal Lok, and more returning this year.

Fallout
There are several new entries as well with the highly-anticipated Fallout series set to release soon. The show is an adaptation of the award-winning Fallout video game series.

Kantara prequel
A prequel to the acclaimed Kantara movie is coming to Amazon Prime after its theatrical release. Kantara – A Legend Chapter 1 will walk us through the story of a “petty king” whose “lavish desires” have casused a “rage in the heart of God’s chosen tribal leader.”
The Mehta Boys
Starring Boman Irani and Avinash Tiwary, ‘The Mehta Boys’ depicts the story of a father and son who do not see eye-to-eye but find themselves in a situation forcing them to spend 2 days together.
A father and son, at odds with each other, find themselves compelled to spend 48 hours together. Beast Games
Amazon Prime Video is also going to offer a new reality show called ‘Beast Games’, courtesy of Mr Beast, the most popular YouTuber on the planet.

Panchayat shows in Tamil and Telugu
Furthermore, TVF is coming up with new Panchayat shows for the Telugu and Tamil audiences respectively.

Speaking of TVF, Panchayat Season 3 will create an ethical and moral dilemma for protagonist Abhishek to deal with, as the upcoming panchayat elections in Phulera will have both Pradhan and Bhushan competing for the position.

The Great Indian Code
TVF also announced a new Amazon Prime series called The Great Indian Code, focusing on the story of a group of engineers who brought innovation to the software industry during the 70s to 90s period in India.
Mirzapur Season 3
The beloved Mirzapur series will soon receive its third season and as per the official synopsis of the show, Guddu and Golu will find themselves “pitted against a new contender” for the coveted throne of Mirzapur.

Paatal Lok Season 2
Paatal Lok, the gritty show about the ground reality of Indian society, will return for its second season with police officer Hathiram set to solve a new case full of “nebulous conspiracy.”

Movies arriving on Prime Video after theatrical run
Apart from Prime Originals, there are also going to be third-party production houses bringing their content to the streaming service. Don 3 by director Farhan Akhtar will be making its way to Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run in the country. Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal, Ground Zero, Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn, Yodha starring Sidharth Malhotra, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor, Housefull 5, Baaghi 4, and more, will be released on Prime Video after their stint in cinemas this year.
