Learn more Table of Contents Table of Contents A new rumor has been circulating regarding the alleged Cinebench R23 rendering scores for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 9800X3D CPU series. AMD is expected to launch the Ryzen 9 9800X3D between the end of October and early November, and so far, we have only seen leaked packaging. However, CodeCommando, a relatively new source who previously leaked the Ryzen 9000 slides shortly before AMD’s official announcement has rumored details about the Cinebench R23 scores for the 9000X3D series. Since the leaks come from someone with only one verified leak on their track record, they should be taken with a grain of salt. Ryzen 9000X3D appears to be 10% to 28% faster than 7000X3D When comparing the results from CodeCommando with the previous generation, the results seem promising and in favor of the upcoming AMD CPUs. According to the results, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is around 10% faster in single-core and 17% faster in multi-core compared with Ryzen 9 7950X3D. While the 9800X3D demonstrates slightly lower single-core performance compared to the 8-core 9700X, it outperforms the 9700X in multi-core tests. This advantage in multi-core performance is likely due to a higher TDP, although specific power specifications have not yet been disclosed. Gaming benchmarks for the Ryzen 9000X3D scheduled to be leaked soon Since AMD is marketing the upcoming series of Ryzen CPUs as the “Ultimate Processor for Elite Gaming”, it would make sense for gamers to expect gaming benchmarks from leakers.
