The Witch Hat Atelier anime has received a teaser trailer at the Anime Expo 2024 and a 2025 premiere. BUG FILMS, the studio behind Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead will be animating the show.
Main staff of the project has also been announced. It includes director Ayumu Watanabe, known for directing several Doraemon films and the anime adaptations of Komi Can’t Communicate and Summertime Rendering.

Hiroaki Kojima will produce Witch Hat Atelier, and Kairi Unabara, known for working on Pokémon Evolutions, is in charge of character designs. Yuka Kitamura, who has worked on Elden Ring’s soundtrack, is composing.
Witch Hat Atelier is the anime adaptation of the 13-volume manga written by Kamome Shirahama. It tells the story of a girl named Coco who wants to become a witch in a world where others are born with magical powers, but she isn’t.
Crunchyroll is set to stream Witch Hat Atelier in some territories.
