MSI Unveils Intel Lunar Lake-Powered Claw 8 AI+ Gaming Handheld and a Fallout-Themed Limited Edition Claw
MSI unveiled its latest gaming handheld, the MSI Claw 8 AI+ at Computex 2024. It features the latest Intel Lunar Lake CPU along with several improvements from the existing Claw A1M model. In addition to this, MSI has also collaborated with Bethesda to launch a limited edition of Claw A1M. This hand-held comes with a distinctive design inspired by the references from the Fallout game series. Let’s check all the details we know about MSI Claw 8 AI+ and the limited edition Claw here.
MSI Claw 8 AI+ Announced
Claw 8 AI+ is the first handheld device to feature the latest Intel Lunar Lake processor. It will also come with an 8-inch Full HD display, a Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, enhanced LB-RB buttons and a 80 Watt hour (Whr) battery matching that to with its competitors such as the recently announced ROG Ally X.
The new MSI handheld will also feature 32GB LPDDR5x memory with 8.5 Gbps speeds and a 1TB M.2 SSD (Size type: 2280). It is also worth noting that it is the first handheld to feature Intel’s Xe2 graphics.
India launch?
While MSI India held an event showcasing and supposedly launching the first generation Claw A1M, it never put the handheld on sale. Now, even before the launch of A1M, we have seen the upcoming Claw 8 AI+. It is likely that MSI may wait a bit to directly launch the newer Claw in the Indian market. However, the company has not shared any details at the time of writing. IGN India has reached out to MSI India for details around the arrival of existing and latest-generation Claw.

As mentioned at the start of the article, MSI has also partnered with game publisher Bethesda to announce a limited edition “Claw x Fallout” co-branded version of the first generation Claw A1M. The design on the device is inspired by various elements seen in the Fallout game series. Some of the elements include the Vaults, Pop-Boys and robots.

MSI claims that this design will offer “fans an immersive experience” while playing Fallout games. The company did not reveal any details around the pricing or availability of the limited edition of Claw A1M.
