It’s a challenging venue to chase as no team ever won while batting second in 7 T20Is played here. The batters will enjoy batting upfront as the surface offers consistent bounce however it slows down drastically in the latter half. Whoever wins the toss without any hesitation should bat first.

Pre-Match Analysis:
It’s a disappointing end for the 1st T20I as rain played a spoilsport throughout and didn’t allow a single ball to bowl. Defending T20 champions England, who haven’t played the shortest format since last December will now have 3 matches to fine-tune their combinations before the upcoming T20 World Cup which is to played in the USA and West Indies. They have included Tom Hartley who is uncapped in the T20Is while Harry Brook and Mark Wood are back in the side after missing the IPL due to different reasons. Jofra Archer who had injury concerns throughout his career is now fully fit which is massive news. They have got a good bunch of all-rounders in their mix including the likes of Sam Curran, Moeen Ali, and Will Jacks. Liam Livingstone’s participation in the series is unlikely as he is recovering from a knee injury to be completely fit for next month’s showpiece event.

After plenty of drama, Pakistan finally announced their T20 World Cup on Thursday. Hasan Ali who was released to feature in the County Cricket ahead of the 1st T20I will be the major absentee. Speedster Haris Rauf earned his spot after recovering from an injury. The squad features young guns Saim Ayub, Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and Azam Khan. Babar Azam as expected will lead the side. The newly appointed Head Coach Gary Kirsten has been linked with the team who has previously led India to the ICC Men’s World Cup title in 2011.
