Episode Nagi Receives New Trailer Highlighting Nagi and Reo

Blue Lock The Movie -Episode Nagi- has received a new trailer, spotlighting the personalities of characters Seishiro Nagi and Reo Mikage.

Having premiered in Japan on April 19, 2024, the trailer also commemorates the film’s success at the Japanese box office, where it debuted at second place during its opening weekend, grossing 463 million yen (approximately US$2.99 million) in its initial three days.

Set for release in North America on June 28 in both English and Japanese, Blue Lock The Movie -Episode Nagi- will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment in regions including Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It is not known who will distribute the film in Southeast and South Asia.

The football-themed anime centres around the rigorous training regimen of the Blue Lock program, designed to unearth Japan’s top football talents following the national team’s disappointing 16th-place finish in the FIFA World Cup. The film follows the journey of character Seishirou Nagi, diverging from the series’ protagonist Yoichii Isagi.
