Spotted by Destructoid, Louis 64 is a YouTuber, that is known to create life-sized weapons to play games with motion controls or other types of unique controllers. In the past, the developer created an actual Buster Sword to play the Final Fantasy 7 Remake title with Cloud’s weapon of choice. Moreover, he has also created a controller that comprises multiple bananas to play Elden Ring, with each banana having a “one button input”. Now, the player has taken up his next unique project and that is creating a Greatsword motion controller to play Elden Ring.

In the video posted on their official X account (formerly Twitter) we see Louis 64, use an actual Greatsword to control a Greatsword user in the game. It seems like the motion controller he has created, just doesn’t look lifelike but matches the weight too, as he is seen struggling slightly while moving the weapon around.

In the video we see him 2 things with this controller, which is attack and guard. To attack, the player swings the sword forward and to guard he has to hold it vertically. Their goal right now is to make the “swings tighter and finish the block stance”. Louis 64 has also stated that there are only a “few bugs left but in the next update the full build will be completed”. Would you be interested in swinging an actual sword or another weapon while wielding those weapons in a game?
