Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming open-world action adventure, that is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi movies. It is the first open-world title set in the Star Wars universe, that will allow you to explore different planets across the galaxy aboard your spaceship the Trailblazer, as Kay Vess an outlaw and her companion Nix. The game was announced to be released in 2024, and now it has been rated in Australia.
Spotted on the popular gaming subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, Star Wars Outlaws has been rated by the Australian Classification Board. If you head over to the website, you will see that the game has been rated as “M” or “Mature”. It was rated on March 20, 2024, the year of production has been stated as 2023, and the consumer advice has been specified as “online interactivity, science fiction violence”. Other than that no other information has been provided on the game.

Many times it has been observed that a game might be close to its release when it starts getting rated in specific countries, however, sometimes that isn’t the case. Through one of Disney’s blog posts in January 2024, it was confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws “is set to release in 2024”, but the window wasn’t specified.
At the moment, the latest we have heard about Star Wars Outlaws comes as good news for Nvidia players. It was announced at GDC 2024 that Star Wars Outlaws will be equipped with Nvidia DLSS 3, Ray Tracing and Reflex on release. Nvidia has also revealed that it has collaborated with Ubisoft and LucasFilm Games to “deliver the definitive PC experience for Star Wars”. Star Wars Outlaws will also be available for streaming via GeForce Now cloud gaming service.
