World’s Only Dragon Ball Theme Park Is Being Made in… Saudi Arabia

The world’s only Dragon Ball theme park is under construction in the planned city of Qiddiya in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Qiddiya Investment Company, based in Saudi Arabia, announced that the Dragon Ball theme park will cover over 500,000 square meters and feature seven distinct areas resembling iconic locations from the Dragon Ball series. These areas include Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Beerus’s Planet, among others.

The theme park will feature five “state-of-the-art” rides among its lineup of more than 30 attractions. Towering at 70 meters high, Shenron, the iconic green magical dragon from the series, will be a major attraction at the theme park, housing a large-scale roller coaster inside. Additionally, Dragon Ball-themed restaurants and hotels will be available at the theme park to fully immerse visitors in its world.

The Qiddiya megaproject, where the Dragon Ball theme park will be situated, is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program. It includes a Qiddiya circuit for Formula One or MotoGP races and a Six Flags theme park, poised to become the largest in the Middle East. The Six Flags park will feature the world’s fastest, tallest, and longest roller coaster, along with the world’s tallest drop tower ride.
