Intel has brought out another driver update to its Intel Arc range of graphics cards, with the 5379 WHQL driver bringing plenty more improvements and game readiness to those sporting a Team Blue GPU.
Intel ARC GPUs have been on the uplift since their release after things didn’t exactly go to plan on the driver front. But years on things just keep improving as the GPUs have gotten plenty of drivers since. It just goes to show, that the software division is really dedicated to making the cards a viable choice for your next build. Especially with the commitment to even more releases and being ready for it as the Battlemage release is expected.
But as we saw in our Intel Arc A770 review, the card is still a great choice to go for. Bringing great value to the performance available, especially with the support that keeps coming and the price that keeps falling.

The not-insignificant 770.2MB update not only provides game improvements to certain titles, it also adds support for other games for its Arc GPUs and even onboard ARC graphics on the Intel Core Ultra CPUs. To start with the update brings support for:

Diablo IV Ray tracing update
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Horizon Forbidden West
The Legend of the Condor Heroes

That allows you to enjoy the latest with your Intel GPU, which includes the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release. This is a good factor in getting on the latest games considering Starfield Intel Arc was not a great experience to start off with.
