Jon Bernthal has teased his return as Frank Castle/Punisher in the MCU ahead of Daredevil: Born Again by posting an image that fans of the Defenders saga would instantly recognize.Bernthal, who originated the role of the Punisher in Marvel’s Daredevil series, took to Instagram to share a photo of the familiar fictional children’s book One Batch, Two Batch, which, in the series, is the story that Castle’s daughter picks out every night for her bedtime reading session until her life is tragically cut short.The fourth episode of Daredevil Season 2 was titled “Penny and Dime” in reference to this book and the phrase from it (“One batch, two batch, penny and dime”), which the Punisher often quotes before he murders people or, in this case, the actor appears to be using it to boost excitement for Daredevil: Born Again.”He’s so back I prayed for times like this,” one person wrote in the post’s comment section, which fans flooded with Punisher GIFs. Another added: “No way!! Is this really happening finally??
