SuperGaming has announced an esports tournament for Indus, their upcoming game which is currently in its closed-beta stages. The Indus Unchained Tournament will commence on March 8, and it will feature 12 teams from the Indus community, trying to dethrone Godlike Girls, the reigning champions.
The Indus Unchained Tournament carries a prize pool of INR 3 lakhs, with half of that prize money going to the winning team. The runner-up team will be awarded INR 75,000 whereas the third-placed and fourth-placed teams will receive INR 30,000 and INR 15,000 respectively. The MVP (most valuable player) will be rewarded with INR 30,000.
Since Indus has not been released yet, the tournament will be conducted in the closed beta version of the game. The tournament matches will take place on the Virlok map, and SuperGaming will add “improved control options, design balances, and enhancements across visuals, and animations” to Indus ahead of the tournament.

SuperGaming also said that the players will provide their thoughts about the gameplay which will impact the “direction of how SuperGaming crafts its most ambitious title yet.”

If you’re interested in playing Indus in its closed beta stages, you can sign up on the official Indus Beta key site to be on the waiting list. Once you receive a key, it can be redeemed on the official website. Players who are part of the closed beta will receive an exclusive cosmetic item which will not be available for other players at launch.
