Mark Zuckerberg Channels Demon Slayer Spirit by Forging a Katana

Mark Zuckerberg, the man who is responsible for kickstarting the social media era of our lives, has now decided to take on some side quests. We already know that Zuckerberg is an avid fan of martial arts and has won a couple of medals in some Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions as well. It seems that the man behind Facebook and Meta has picked up another hobby, which is forging katanas.

It seems like Zuckerberg watched Demon Slayer’s Swordsmith Village Arc recently and has gotten inspired by the character, Hotaru Haganezuka, as he was seen forging a katana recently. Yes, Zuckerberg took to Instagram to reveal that he spent a whole afternoon “learning about making katanas” from the master Akihira Kokaji with a video of him hammering red-hot metal with the master himself and shaping it into a katana.

We also get to see the final product in the post, along with a video of Zuck trying it out. The katana does look beautiful sporting a black blade. We then see Zuck putting the blade into action, with him easily slicing through tatami mats, with the help of his newly forged katana. Someone in the comments section hilariously pointed out that Zuckerberg could be on the “path to becoming” a ninja, as he is already well-versed in hand-to-hand combat and is now learning how to wield a sword as well. It will be exciting to see what side quest he takes on next.
