Bollywood Megastar Shah Rukh Khan Responds to Video of WWE Legend John Cena Trying To Sing One of His Songs
Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan has responded to a recent clip of WWE wrestler John Cena singing the song ‘Bholi Si Surat’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s movie ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. The Bollywood legend thanked both John Cena and Canadian wrestler Gurvinder Sihra for singing the song in the video and added that he’ll now send Cena more of his latest songs and wants the duo to create a duet video on one of those latest songs as well. SRK responds to John Cena singing one of his songs
Gurvinder Sihra posted a video on Instagram on February 18 where he was in a gym with John Cena. Sihra introduced John Cena in the video as a “pretty big Shah Rukh Khan fan” before he began to teach Cena the lyrics for ‘Bholi Si Surat’. The American wrestler said in the video, “I am gonna try my best to learn a song”, and to be fair, he did a great job at getting the lyrics of the Indian song right.
On February 25, Shah Rukh Khan, known as SRK the world over, responded to the video in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote, “Thank u both…. Love it and love u @JohnCena, I’m gonna send u my latest songs and I want a duet from the two of u again!!! Ha ha.”

Moments when two worlds collide, especially with global stars, it is always a sight to see for the fans. Both SRK and John Cena are beloved professionals in their respective industries. SRK is widely regarded as an icon of the film industry in India while John Cena is revered as one of the greatest wrestlers in sports entertainment history. John Cena has not been actively a part of WWE lately, as he had pivoted primarily to acting in recent years. Some of his notable work as an actor includes portraying Peacemaker in DCEU, and he is retaining that role for DC co-CEO James Gunn’s new DC Universe as well, who also directed the series.
Meanwhile, SRK’s latest movie was Dunki, which was the actor’s 10th movie to enter the 100-crore club at the box office in India. While there’s no official project announced by SRK yet for his next movie, there have been reports that Shah Rukh Khan’s next movie is titled ‘King’, where he’ll reportedly share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan, who will be making her theatrical debut on the back of her series debut after the Archies show.
