Upcoming Game Kingmakers Can Probably Answer Your Curiosity About Tanks and Modern Artillery in Medieval Wars; Here Is the Trailer
Ever wondered what would really happen if you could play a game where you’d be isekai’d into medieval times, where riding horses, using bows and arrows, and wielding swords were crucial in battles, but you had modern weapons and tools with you?
What would happen if you were to run a military tank over a swarm of soldiers on the battlefield?
No? Just me?
Well, my questions will soon be answered with Kingmakers, an upcoming game developed by indie studio Redemption Road Games and published by Tinybuild, which literally lets you bring guns to a sword fight.
Kingmakers is an “action/strategy sandbox” where you fight in “massive war-torn medieval battles.” The huge twist here is that you can build modern weapons, vehicles, artillery, and use them in said battles, against soldiers who are only wielding swords and the like.
What’s more, you can co-op with friends and decimate the battlefield together. Maybe one of your buddies could use a sniper rifle to take out those pesky archers, while you use your grenade launcher on the incoming infantry.
