The Murai in Love anime is set to premiere in Fall 2024 on Disney+.

The anime will be produced by J.C.Staff, with Yoshinobu Yamakawa serving as the director and Susumu Yamakawa handling series composition. Ruka Kawada will compose the score, while Jin Aketagawa will oversee sound direction.
The cast of Murai in Love revealed thus far includes:
Murai voiced by Kengo Takanashi
Ayano Tanaka voiced by Yoko Hikasa
Hitotose voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki
Murai in Love, known in Japanese as Murai no Koi, is adapted from the manga by Junta Shima. The story follows Murai, who harbours feelings for his otome game-loving teacher and undergoes a transformation to resemble her favourite character from the dating game. The manga serialisation ran from June 2018 to June 2022.
Additionally, the manga received a live-action drama adaptation that aired from April 2022 to May 2022 starring Takahashi Hikaru and Miyase Ryubi.
