Ghatak and Fea Announced New Esports Company Called Trident Gaming




Two prominent esports personalities have just announced their latest esports venture in India. These players include Abhijeet Andhare, better known as Ghatak and Sunny Lohia, or Fea. The two have announced a new “esports and gaming solutions company”. The company is called Trident Gaming and is situated in Pune, India. Learn more about this new venture below.

Through Trident Gaming the duo wish to “redefine the esports narrative” and focus more towards nurturing emerging talents, making more connections in the community, “instilling accountability in player contracts” and “enhancing brand commitments”. Through this venture, they will be announcing new programs and intellectual properties to find the best talent and groom them to become the best they can be. They are also in talks with collagists and educational institutions to introduce an esports club.

The company wishes to “bridge the gap between brands and the esports/gaming industry”. This will be done by creating a “one stir destination” for all services such as “market solutions, IP creations and management, talent management, athlete representation, content production, broadcast solutions, and sponsorship and brand integration.” Moreover, the gamers that are found through their grassroots initiate will also be trained to work in the esports industry.

The two founders have had prolific careers in the Indian esports scene before starting this venture. Ghatak has been a player as well as a coach, representing the country at the PUBG Mobile Global Finals in 2019 as a player and then coaching Godlike Esports to several victories including the PUBG Mobile Global Championship in 2021. Fea on the other hand has experience working in the industry through his previous venture, Esports Network, which has worked with clients like Tencent, AMD, Garena, Red Bull and Ampverse.

“While India’s esports industry has shown remarkable growth, there’s a need to nurture new talent and diversify revenue streams. Trident Gaming is here to fill that gap with our esports and gaming solutions while focusing on community-driven initiatives. We are hiring individuals who have a proven track record in shaping the esports landscape, ensuring our goal of being for the community and by the community.”

Sunny Lohia had to this to say about Trident Gaming’s vision:

“Trident aims to disrupt the gaming and esports industry through education and awareness. We are not just a marketing agency but are committed to creating IPs for grassroots development. Additionally, our focus is on talent and player management which includes negotiating contracts, legal assistance, and brand management for professional players, ensuring they unlock their potential as stars.”
