Aniplex Inc., Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll have announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsuo no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- movie will release in Indian theatres on February 23.
The film will also be available in IMAX and premium large formats (PLFs).
Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training will include the final episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc along with content from the Hashira Training Arc that will be part of the show’s Season 4.
Special fan screening will also take place
There will also be a fan screening that will take place before the film’s release. It will be held on February 21 in Mumbai.
The movie’s World Tour includes special screenings in various cities worldwide, and the India World Tour stop was also confirmed. However, it’s unclear if this special fan screening is part of the World Tour or a separate event.
The World Tour Special Screenings were also graced by anime staff. For instance, the New York City screening on February 10 at the Regal Union Square was attended by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado, Hiro Shimono, the voice actor for Zenitsu Agatsuma, and producer Yuma Takahashi.
