Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s Season 2 details are now out, as the update is set to arrive on February 7. A new trailer has revealed contents for this season, including three new 6v6 maps for multiplayer, the return of Fortune’s Keep map for Warzone, and a new Zombies mode alongside playable operators from The Walking Dead.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2
The new trailer introduces Stash House, Vista, and Departures as the three new multiplayer maps while Operation Tin Man is a new map specifically for the War game mode. Season 2 will also bring back Hordepoint mode which was introduced in Call of Duty: WWII. The game mode runs similarly to Hardpoint mode here, but here, players have to face zombies while securing a location for their team.
The Walking Dead collaboration
The trailer also gave us a glimpse at Rick Grimes and Michonne from The Walking Dead as playable operators. Activision and The Walking Dead’s collaboration was previously teased through a recreation of the signature The Walking Dead opening title scene, featuring the Verdansk map.

Fortune’s Keep
Call of Duty community’s favourite Warzone map, Fortune’s Keep, is returning with the new season. Activision earlier teased the map’s return by sending special packages to Warzone streamers including Majin, as spotted by Dot Esports. The box contained a block inside, which had to be submerged in water for 15 minutes. After that, the block dissolved to reveal the a replica of the Fortune’s Keeps Winery POI.
