Valorant Champions Tour Pacific 2024 details have been revealed, including the schedule and format of this prestigious stage of the overall VCT esports tournament. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about the upcoming VCT Pacific 2024.
For those unfamiliar with VCT and its structure, it is the ultimate competitive stage for Valorant. VCT Pacific is one of the four international leagues of VCT which also incudes VCT Americas, VCT EMEA and VCT China. VCT Pacific 2024 carries a $250,000 total prize pool. India’s Global Esports’ Valorant team will be competing at the upcoming VCT Pacific Kickoff tournament.
How VCT Pacific 2024 will lead to Masters Madrid
Valorant esports teams will get to compete in three different global events to qualify for VCT through Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai and Champions. To qualify for these three events, players have to qualify through Kickoff, Stage 1 and 2 events. Riot Games has announced that an additional team will make it to Champions through Championship Points which are accumulated by a team’s performance in the whole season. The first VCT event of this year will be VCT Pacific Kickoff to decide which teams would head to Masters Madrid.

VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024 Format
VCT Pacific Kickoff is set to be an 8-day tournament at the S Factory in Seongdong-Gu, Seoul, South Korea, and it will feature 19 matches in total. The tournament is split into three stages, starting with the group rounds operating in a GSL format and will feature 11 teams seeded randomly in 3 groups. The GSL format sees group winners progress to the winner’s bracket and there will be a loser’s bracket to give teams a second chance to make it to the next round. The 12th team will be PRX, heading straight into Group C since they are Pacific Champions of 2023.
Eight teams that qualify from the group stages will head to Play-ins which are a single round robin elimination system. The final four teams that make it through these rounds will head to Playoffs, and compete in single elimination bracket once again. The top two teams will head straight to Masters Madrid.
