Naughty Dog New IP Mentioned on Story Artist’s LinkedIn Page, All You Need to Know

Naughty Dog’s latest title, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, arrives on January 19, 2024. However, many players are also unhappy with Naughty Dog as their last two titles have only been remasters of their existing games, and we have not heard of any new instalments or IPs from the developers in some time. Interestingly, this situation might be changing soon.

Spotted on popular gaming subreddit, r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, the About section of a Naughty Dog Story Artist’s LinkedIn page mentions an untitled Naughty Dog IP in the works. The story artist, Colin Lorimer, has been working with Naughty Dog since 2021 and has contributed to two projects, The Last of Us: Factions and an “Untitled Project” by the developers.

The “About” section of Lorimer’s LinkedIn profile also tells us that he’s already worked on the HBO series, The Last of Us. He was working on the upcoming multiplayer mode called Factions until it was scrapped, and is “currently helping develop their latest IP”. It is exciting to hear that there is indeed a new IP in development, however, players do want an official announcement from the developers to know that it is confirmed.
