What are the Top Picks, players for Dream11, My11circle and MPL for NZ vs PAK, 1st T20I?
Top Pick – Batter

Babar Azam has a point to prove here after giving up the captaincy in all forms. He is the all-time leading run-scorer for Pakistan in the T20Is, amassing 3485 runs in 104 matches at an average of 41.48.

Top Pick – All-Rounder

Mitchell Santner makes the batters think with his variations as he can turn the ball and has a good arm ball as well as a decent striker down the order. He picked up 5 wickets and scored 41 runs in the recent T20I series against Bangladesh.Top Pick – Bowler

Zaman Khan will deceive the batters with his slingy action and can be threatening at the death as he bowls pinpoint Yorkers. He has picked up 4 wickets in his 6 T20Is.

Top Pick – Wicketkeeper

Mohammad Rizwan is a busy cricketer who likes to hold the crease for a longer duration of the game. He is not far away from scoring milestone 3000 runs in the T20Is. Overall in his 85 T20Is, he made 2797 runs at an average of close to 50 with the best score of 104*.

X-Factor:

Daryl Mitchell looking to make the most of this series as he didn’t go well against Bangladesh, managing 33 runs in 3 innings. He has shown form for Canterbury in the Super Smash, scoring 57* against Auckland.

Pre-Match Analysis:
New Zealand had a tough series against Bangladesh where they drew 1-1 under the leadership of Mitchell Santner. Big guns Kane Williamson and Devon Conway return to the side after the away Test series against Bangladesh. Matt Henry has completely recovered from a hamstring injury and is back in the side. Speedster Lockie Ferguson will miss the first two matches of the series and Ben Sears will replace him in the squad. This is going to be a real test for the Kiwis who kick-start their preparations for the marquee event which is scheduled in West Indies and the USA in June. Tim Seifert’s place in the side is in danger as Devon Conway is fully capable of keeping wickets in the shortest format.

Pakistan will have a new skipper Shaheen Afridi who is all set to lead the side for the first time in his career. Wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has been appointed as the vice-captain taking the role from Shadab Khan who missed out due to an ankle injury. Haseebullah Khan and Azam Khan are the other two wicketkeepers who were named in the squad. It’s the first white ball series for Men in Green after their appalling World Cup campaign in the sub-continent. They going to miss their premier pacer Naseem Shah due to injury but they have found Zaman Khan who is ably skillful in this format. Aamer Jamal who was with a second-string squad that travelled to Hangzhou for the Asian Games keeps his place in the T20I side.
