Grand Theft Auto 6, the next big thing from Rockstar’s minds, received a brand new trailer earlier this month. This GTA 6 Trailer 1 went on to become the most-viewed non-music video on YouTube in 24 hours, thanks to all the anticipation and popularity of the franchise. However, since the trailer has come out, one man has been threatening to sue Rockstar over it and that is the Florida Joker. Now, he has a new update to provide on the case he is building against the GTA makers.
Lawrence Sullivan, the man who is known as the Florida Joker provided an update on the case he is building against Rockstar through a new video. In the video, he references the Lindsay Lohan lawsuit against Take-Two Interactive, where she alleged that they had used her likeliness without authorisation. This case was ultimately dismissed. He goes on to explain how his case differs from Lohan’s so Rockstar should watch out.

Sullivan explains how his case is different stating that Lohan’s character looked different from her real-life photo which is why she didn’t have a case. Sullivan adds, “I got a case, they took my likeness, they took my life, they took my story and turned it into a video game”. Sullivan then spoke about already consulting his lawyer and “building the biggest case” on them. Sullivan gives a request by stating that Rockstar has “48 hours” to contact him before he goes to court. He also talks about how he helped them give “publicity” and millions of people are watching them, while he is getting “harassed” by people saying things like “you the GTA 6 joker” to him. He concludes by stating “I’m not getting paid for this, I need my pain and suffering money now.”

For those who do not know, Lawrence Sullivan who is also known as the Florida Joker recently revealed that he is planning a lawsuit against Rockstar. This is because there was a character shown in the trailer that matched his real-life appearance. The character in question was shown in the trailer through a mugshot and had purple hair and tattoos all over his face. Lawrence Sullivan had his mugshot go viral in 2017, where he looked very much like the character in the trailer, apart from the green hair and different tattoos.
